Specific characteristics of exacerbation development in patients with different phenotypes of severe asthma

Aim: to assess specific characteristics of exacerbation development in patients with different phenotypes severe asthma (SA) based on the analysis Russian Severe Asthma Registry Respiratory Society. Patients and Methods: this retrospective study assessed risk factors exacerbations, clinical signs, functional laboratory test indicators recorded during disease exacerbations 2060 various SA phenotypes: allergic, non-allergic, associated obesity, fixed bronchial obstruction. The authors reviewed data patient surveys questionnaires, as well medical documentation (patient physical examination, history, results tests). Results: largest group consisted non-allergic phenotype.
